To become a lawyer, you have to do LLB, the full form of LLB is Bachelor of Laws. If a person wants to study law, then he has to do LLB first.
Basic Eligibilty for making career in law
for making career in law , you have to do LLB first & for doing LLB , you need to have 12th pass,
it takes 5 years for a 12th pass student to do LLB and the LLB after 12th is called integrated LLB.
In which graduation and LLB studies runs simultaneously , with this integrated course you can do LLB with a degree like BA, B.SC or BBA
You can also do LLB after graduation that takes 3 years

There is no age limit in LLB and You can give the entrance exam as many times as you want for LLB admission.

Jobs Opportunity after doing LLB
After completing LLB, you can also do LLM (Master of Laws) or as a fresher you may have to work as an assistant with a Legal Firm or Advocate.
As your experience increases, you will start making progress in advocacy.
According to the Bar Council of India, even though people do LLB, there are very few lawyers who have an understanding of the law.
If you feel that you can understand various sections of law, then only you should make a career in the field of advocacy.

LLB entrance exam : CLAT
To do LLB, you have to give an entrance exam known as CLAT in which questions related to Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, English including Comprehension, General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics are asked from the candidate.
The full form of CLAT is Common Law Admission Test and this exam can be given after 12th or graduation.
You can give CLAT exam any number of times and to appear in this exam you must have at least 45% in 12th or graduation.
For the reserved category, it has been fixed at 40%, although this qualification may be slightly more or less according to the college.
CLAT exam is of 2 hours in which 200 questions of 200 marks are asked, in CLAT exam question paper with objective answer question paper comes in English language.
This CLAT exam is taken offline and in which 1 number is given for correct answer and 0.25 number is deducted for wrong answer i.e. there is negative marking in CLAT exam.
